Reconciliation Place to Parliament House

Finished at Parliament House, Federation Mall, around 11:00 a.m.

Final public walk section from Reconciliation Place to Parliament House.
  • The walk began with a Smoking Ceremony and concluded with a celebratory event at Parliament House.
  • This is the final section of the National Walk for Truth.

Walk from near Banksia Street Bridge to the Wurundjeri Trail in Kew (8 km).
  • Community showed support by walking together and signing the letter to the Prime Minister.
  • Presented as part of local community actions that happened around the country.

Guided walk around the University of Melbourne campus.
Route / Activity
Explore the history of campus, including its ecology, infrastructure and dark history. We discuss how truth telling can pave the way to reconciliation, and how placemaking persists through time.

Kangaroo Island Walk for Truth
